Para-Port® Doors can accommodate large door openings of 150’+, small 40’ wide door openings, or any size in between. The wider the door opening, the more savings you’ll enjoy compared to traditional bi-fold, hydraulic, or rolling hangar doors. Doors larger than 150' can be manufactured with custom engineering.
If you’re replacing an old door, Para-Port® can be planned for your existing door opening to help you make space for a bigger aircraft, reduce maintenance costs, increase natural light, and improve reliability.
If you are building a new structure, Para-Port®️️ will save money on construction costs because our doors are lighter with minimal point loads and require less overhead clearance which will in turn reduce your overall steel requirements.
Para-Port® Doors are ASCE rated for winds up to 140 MPH, and are fully operable in wind conditions up to 35 MPH. They offer the tightest seal, making it a more efficient choice for any climate, cold or hot, wet or dry.
Our doors are custom built to fit the building. We work with each customer and builder to maximize the width of the opening. Para-Port® has models for the most prevalent door opening requirements and frequently engineer to specific door sizes above and below our standard models.
Other colors are available at additional cost and will extend the manufacturing time required.
The average life expectancy for the curtain is around 15-20 years. However, we have replaced curtains that have been in service for 30 years.
Para-Port®️️ has doors in service from the 1960s and 1970s. It is very common for Para-Port®️️ doors to be fully operational for 30 to 40 years or more.
Yes. Para-Port® doors are in service all over the world. In cold northern climates, the ice and snow do not stick to the door so it remains serviceable in weather conditions. In warm climates, the doors can be opened partially to allow cool breezes in while blocking the afternoon sun.
Yes. Shipping and installation is available all over the World. We have shipped doors to Canada, South America, Australia, and Afghanistan.
Yes. All doors are supplied with electric operators and controls. Each door is also supplied with an emergency hand crank for each drive to be used in the event of a power failure.
Yes. Our door has the fewest number of required sealing points of any product available. While most doors require a moveable seal at the top, sides, bottom, and through the middle of the door, we only require seals at the sides and bottom, the top is a solid attachment and the opening is covered with one complete sheet of material.
Yes. Shipping and installation is available all over the world. We have shipped doors to Canada, South America, Falkland Islands, Australia, and Afghanistan.
Our base doors are rated for up to 140 MPH. All doors are fully operable in wind conditions up to 35 MPH. The Para-Port® door system outperform all configurations of swing up doors in windy conditions without rendering it unusable or compromised.
