The Drive Unit rises the membrane from the bottom and opens the full span without side-stacking zones. Fully open, the entire width and height of the hangar opening remain available.

Performance Membrane
The surface makes the system. One continuous panel that allows full access, natural light and environmental control.
The single-panel membrane spans large hangar openings with reduced weight and structural load, moving vertically and rolling upward from the bottom to preserve the full designed opening.
Unlike rigid-panel systems that stack beside the opening, it provides unobstructed access and greater flexibility for aircraft and facility use.
Its translucent surface admits natural light, while the continuous panel reduces joints and moving seal interfaces to help limit uncontrolled air exchange.
Published guidance indicates a typical 20- to 25-year membrane life, with some exceeding 30 years. Actual life depends on exposure, use, inspection, and maintenance.


The Drive System
A compact drive unit with controlled movement built around a lightweight membrane that allows ground-level service access.
The PARA-PORT drive moves the door using straightforward mechanics designed for large openings. It initiates opening and closing, transfers force to the membrane, coordinates movement across the opening and supports repeatable operating sequences.
